OUR SERVICES

Vaccinations

Vaccinations

We believe that one of the most important aspects of caring for your pet’s health is vaccinating them against potential diseases. There are a variety of infectious diseases that affect our pets, so proper vaccination is vital in protecting them from the many types of illnesses they are susceptible to.

Skin Care

Skin Care

As you may well know skin care is a very important part of animal care and can be an issue with your animal especially in Florida.  If you feel your pet is itching, biting, or scratching more then normal, it is important to have them checked by the veterinarian to determine the source of the skin problem.

Microchipping

Microchipping

Many pets go missing every year.  Fortunately, permanent identification is available that offers your pet the best opportunity to be returned to you if they wander from your home. Most veterinary practices and local shelters have a microchip reader required to read the microchip and identify your pet. Microchipping is an effective and cost-efficient method of having your pet returned to you in the event you are separated.  Our new microchips also give a reading of your pet’s temperature.

Dentistry

Dentistry

Healthy teeth will help to increase the life expectancy of your animal. Dental care is vital to the overall health of any animal. Dental disease leads to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. If the doctor recommends a dental you set up an appointment with the office staff.

Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy

We are proud to offer laser therapy for our patients. Laser therapy  reduces pain and swelling which aids in reducing recovery time, helping your pet get back to their normal self more quickly. Laser therapy can be used for the treatment of arthritis, general pain management (sprains, strains, and stiffness) skin problems (hot spots, lick granulomas, infections) and various other conditions.

Radiology

Radiology

Radiology is a technique and diagnostic tool that the Doctor uses to look inside the body in a completely non-invasive way. X-rays allow us to create images of all the body’s organs and help determine any abnormalities.  We use state of the art digital radiology to provide us with the most detailed images.

Laboratory Services

Our hospital has state of the art CBC, blood chemistry, and urinalysis instruments allowing us to perform lab tests while you wait.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a painless, and radiation-free method of imaging your pet’s internal organs. This is one of the many ways we are dedicated to providing your pet with the best care possible. By using ultrasound, we have yet another powerful tool at our disposal to detect, diagnose, and prevent illness in your pet. We also use ultrasound in our office to confirm pregnancy.

Surgery

We perform various surgeries from routine spays and neuters to more complicated orthopedic and cancer surgeries.  These surgeries are performed with surgical lasers to decrease bleeding, swelling and pain.

Pharmacy

Pharmacy

We have an in-house pharmacy as well as an online pharmacy.  Call our office to reorder your medications and have them ready for you to pick up or follow the link to Vetsource to purchase your pets medication online and have them delivered to your house.

Nutritional Counseling

Nutritional Counseling

Obesity is a common problem among pets, as it can be easy to overfeed a pet that knows how to beg. But being overweight is a serious problem for animals and can cause real health problems as they get older. With proper diet and exercise, all pets should be able to meet their dietary needs and be within a healthy weight range.  A pet’s nutritional needs change as they enter different stages of their lives. The best way to make sure your pet’s needs are being met is to consult with us about a diet made specifically for them and their lifestyle.

He’s the best vet my family has ever had. He loves our all of our puppies so much, and they are always so excited to see him! Always there to help out for emergencies. We are so blessed to have Dr. Claunch.

Most warm and welcoming place you will find. These people actually care about the well being of the animals instead of the size of your pockets. Dr. Claunch is the most patient and gentle vet. So thankful I found them and I will never go to another animal hospital.
